Real Madrid earns all three points with a tough 1-0 Victory at San Mamés.
It was a tough match against an Athletic Bilbao that was
coming off a victory against Valencia last week. It was an open match all through with excellent end-end football. Cannvaro's defensive
header back to Casillas almost let Athletic open the scoring but Casillas made a brilliant save. Casillas was called in multiple
times against a very attacking Athletic.
It was Van Nistelrooy who scored the opener in the game. He was about
to make a second almost 5 minutes later when Raul made a brilliant blind back heel but the Dutchman could not round the keeper.
With Athletic in no mood to give up, it paved way to an excellent last 20 minutes or so.

Deportivo tomorrow, but Real the pack now by 7 points.
